Paid Time Off:

Position Description

Starting Salary Range: $23.50 - $29.25/hour; depending on experience

Location: Everett, WA

Classification: Non-Exempt

Position Overview:

The Fabrication Coordinator is responsible for organizing and tracking all shipping and receiving activities for the Fabrication Group. This role ensures timely and accurate delivery of materials and equipment while maintaining compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate deliveries and shipments, including scheduling with freight companies and tracking incoming and outgoing materials.
  2. Prepare bills of lading and packing lists for all outgoing shipments.
  3. Maintain photo documentation for all deliveries leaving the facility.
  4. Communicate delivery schedules and updates with internal teams and external partners.
  5. Collaborate with tool and warehouse teams to align fabrication deliveries.
  6. Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities using spreadsheets and Outlook Calendar.
  7. Ensure all materials are properly ordered, received, tagged, and packaged for each fabrication delivery.
  8. Manage vendor deliveries, including painters, galvanizers, and inspection services.
  9. Coordinate short-term and long-term storage of equipment and fabrication items.
  10. Update and maintain delivery tracking status in internal company software.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  1. Communicate with vendors to track receivables and material status.
  2. Assist with material ordering for fabrication packages as needed.
Position Requirements

Required Skills and Abilities:

  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  2. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  3. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when needed.
  6. Strong time management and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  1. High school diploma or GED required.
  2. Previous experience in a warehouse or fabrication environment preferred.

Required Licensing and Other Certifications:

  1. Maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
