We're looking for an Engineering Intern to support our engineering and operations teams through documentation, process improvement, and small project support at our Sheboygan Falls plant. This role is ideal for a curious, detailoriented engineering student who wants handson exposure to plant operations and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful improvements in efficiency, safety, and quality.

What You'll Do



  • Create, update, and maintain engineering and operating documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, drawings, and specifications
  • Assist with small, welldefined projects from scoping through execution, including scheduling, tracking, and reporting
  • Identify process improvement opportunities by collecting data, analyzing root causes, and proposing practical, actionable solutions
  • Support standardization and digitization efforts such as forms, checklists, and electronic records
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and HSE to ensure alignment and compliance
  • Assist with project documentation, risk assessments, and change control records
  • Participate in plant improvement initiatives, including small experiments, trials, or pilot implementations
  • Present findings and recommendations to supervisors or project teams as needed
  • Follow all site safety procedures and contribute to a safe, environmentally responsible work environment


What We're Looking For



  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, or a related field)
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAD software, EHS systems, or document management tools is a plus
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Curious, proactive, and comfortable working in a fastpaced plant environment
