As a Security Officer Screening Patrol Evenings in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and deliver strong customer service while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or team members by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document authorized movement of people, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with site policies.
• Perform screening activities for personnel, personal property, shipments, and/or deliveries to help support security-related operations within a logistics and distribution environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through required logs, systems, and/or communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas, including interior workspaces, trailer yards, docks, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
