About the Position: The Vehicle Systems Engineer position focuses on the development and management of advanced MOSA-based vehicle system architectures on new and existing platform designs. This effort focuses on developing advanced architectures, decomposing activities/behaviors at the system and subsystem levels, identifying and maturing open system and subsystem interfaces, and modeling and documenting them following a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) process, supported by an industry-standard toolset (typically CAMEO). It requires an ability to understand and represent complex system, subsystem, and component interactions and activities to support component hardware and software designs in various ground vehicle platforms. While experience in MBSE is desired, the focus for the position is primarily on solid systems architecture engineering, not solely on SysML modeling Company Information: General Dynamics is a successful Fortune 100, global aerospace and defense company, with over 90,000 employees world-wide.
