ABOUT THE ROLE

FOX is looking for a Director, Talent Acquisition, Technology & Direct-to-Consumer to lead recruiting for our Direct-to-Consumer technology organization. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can build trust with senior business leaders, lead a recruiting team, and personally deliver on key product management and technology searches across the organization.

In this role, you will lead a small recruiting team across multiple locations while also carrying an active requisition load of approximately 5-10 roles on average, with a focus on product management, product design, and technology hiring. You'll partner closely with leaders across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, AI, Strategy, Operations, Marketing Technology, and Business Development to help build the teams shaping FOX's direct-to-consumer future.

This role is ideal for a recruiting leader who is both strategic and execution-oriented. You can zoom out to build a hiring strategy, then zoom in to source, screen, calibrate, close, and move work forward. You understand how technology teams are built, how product organizations operate, and how to help leaders make strong talent decisions in competitive markets.

You are a builder. You like creating order, but you are not precious about process. You are comfortable leading people and still doing the work. You can coach a recruiter through a hard search in the morning, lead a product intake in the afternoon, and close a strong candidate by the end of the day. You are direct, curious, and resilient, with the ability to challenge hiring leaders respectfully, use data to inform decisions, and move quickly without cutting corners.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, coach, and develop a recruiting team supporting technology and Direct-to-Consumer hiring across multiple locations

  • Personally manage an active requisition load of approximately 5-10 roles on average, with a focus on product management and product design searches across the organization

  • Partner with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, AI, Strategy, Operations, Marketing Technology, and Business Development to define hiring priorities and talent strategies

  • Lead intake and hiring strategy meetings that clarify role outcomes, must-have skills, target companies, compensation realities, sourcing strategy, and interview process

  • Build sourcing strategies for product management and DTC technology talent, including streaming, media, consumer technology, product-led growth, AI, personalization, subscription, and advertising technology talent pools

  • Use market data, talent mapping, and candidate calibration to help leaders make faster, better hiring decisions

  • Create clear operating rhythms for recruiters, including weekly requisition reviews, priority role tracking, aging requisition reviews, candidate pipeline reviews, and stakeholder updates

  • Ensure recruiters and hiring teams follow a consistent, high-quality process from intake through offer

  • Partner with recruiting coordinators to deliver a smooth candidate experience, including scheduling, interview logistics, Workday updates, scorecards, candidate communication, offer support, and onboarding handoff

  • Track and communicate recruiting metrics, including pipeline health, slate quality, pass-through rates, aging requisitions, offer acceptance, source quality, and candidate/hiring manager experience

  • Identify process gaps and use AI, automation, and recruiting tools to reduce administrative burden and improve speed, quality, and consistency

  • Ensure hiring practices align with FOX recruiting process, EEO, pay transparency, candidate documentation, and Workday requirements

  • Act as a player-coach who can lead the team while also directly sourcing, screening, assessing, influencing, and closing candidates

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Significant full-cycle recruiting experience supporting technology, product, engineering, digital media, streaming, consumer technology, or direct-to-consumer teams

  • Experience leading recruiters, coordinators, or recruiting pods in a fast-moving environment

  • Strong product management and technology recruiting experience, including the ability to assess talent across consumer experience, platform, growth, monetization, data, AI/ML, personalization, or related domains

  • Proven ability to partner with senior executives and hiring leaders on role design, prioritization, talent strategy, candidate calibration, and offer decisions

  • Strong sourcing and talent mapping skills, including experience building pipelines for hard-to-fill or highly competitive product and technology roles

  • High judgment in candidate assessment, stakeholder communication, process management, and offer strategy

  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple leaders, roles, and business needs

  • Strong command of recruiting metrics and the ability to turn data into action

  • Experience using an ATS and recruiting tools to manage pipeline activity, candidate status, requisition health, and reporting

  • Clear, direct communication style with the ability to push back respectfully when role requirements, compensation, process, or timelines are misaligned

  • Strong candidate experience mindset and the ability to create a professional, responsive, and human recruiting process

  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, shifting priorities, and high-growth or transformation environments

  • Ability to work in a hybrid model from the Los Angeles office

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Experience recruiting for streaming, subscription, AVOD, FAST, digital video, marketplace, ad tech, consumer product, or AI-enabled technology organizations

  • Experience supporting DTC technology teams across web, mobile, connected TV, personalization, identity, payments, growth, engagement, platform, or data

  • Experience with Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, Zoom Scheduler, and AI tools (Claude, Replit, ChatGPT, and workflow automation)

  • Experience building or improving recruiting processes, scorecards, interview plans, dashboards, or recruiter operating rhythms
