Position Description

At a Glance

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join the Data Center Power and Control ZPE Team in Fremont, CA. In this role, you will contribute to the integrity, accuracy, and continuous improvement of the company's financial reporting and accounting operations. The Senior Accountant partners closely with colleagues across finance and the broader business to support monthly close, internal controls, and process optimization initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strong technical accounting skills with collaboration, problemsolving, and operational insight in a dynamic environment.

What Will You Do?

Financial Accounting & Close

    Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities in accordance with GAAP, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Partner with team members to research and resolve reconciling items in a timely and thoughtful manner.
  • Help ensure accounting records are complete, welldocumented, and auditready. Internal Controls & Compliance
  • Support the design, documentation, and execution of internal controls across accounting processes.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and data quality, and collaborate on implementing solutions. Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice review, vendor reconciliations, and monitoring aging.
  • Assist with ensuring proper period cutoff and appropriate accounting treatment.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional partners to support revenue completeness and timely collections. Additional Contributions
  • Perform adhoc financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
  • Participate in ERP system implementation and ongoing optimization initiatives, including SAP.
  • Interact with internal stakeholders and external partners such as auditors, consultants, and regulators, as needed.


Qualifications

What You'll Have

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and financial close processes.
  • Experience performing account reconciliations and supporting audits.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Desired Skills & Attributes

  • CPA certification or progress toward certification.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with financial systems and data.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively with different stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with an interest in improving processes and strengthening controls.
  • Professional judgment, integrity, and commitment to ethical business practices.
  • Ability to work independently while also valuing teamwork and shared success.

Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000/annually
