BB&E is an employee-owned full service civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm, headquartered in Northville, Michigan, which services both the Federal and Industrial sectors throughout the United States. BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors. Position SummaryBB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Environmental Program Manager for an on-site position to fulfill all requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for our NASA Environmental Support Services (NESS) contract located in Greenbelt, MD and Wallops Island, VA. The on-site Environmental Program Manager will provide the planning, coordination, technical direction, and surveillance of the program team and activities necessary to ensure disciplined performance of work and timely application of resources for the accomplishment of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Job Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements Key Qualifications* U.S. Citizenship is required * Ability to successfully pass a federal agency background check is required. * Knowledge:
o Professional registration and/or certifications in fields of expertise preferred. * Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. * Software: Proficiency using MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required. * Self-Starter: Highly motivated, with the ability to solve problems and function as a member of a team. Experience & Education* Experience: Three (3) years' management experience in Environmental Program Management Experience, including indirect services procurement (i.e. management of subcontracts); be a subject matter expert in at least one compliance media (e.g. water, air, tanks, waste); and have multi-media environmental experience with federal and state regulatory compliance and in risk assessments is required. * Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in environmental science/engineering and a Master's degree in a related environmental or safety field is required.
