At Kennedy Jenks, we design innovative, sustainable solutions for water, wastewater, and environmental infrastructure. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you'll help deliver projects that directly improve communities nationwide.


What You'll Do:




  • Design electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and related infrastructure.



  • Support senior engineers in creating construction drawings, technical specifications, and reports.






  • Perform calculations such as voltage drop, load studies, and conduit/cable sizing.






  • Produce high-quality electrical design documentation using REVIT, CAD, and/or BIM software.






  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders to deliver coordinated solutions.






  • Contribute to project planning, research, and design development.






  • Follow Kennedy Jenks' quality, safety, and engineering standards.




Who You Are:




  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.






  • 4+ years of relevant experience designing power systems, power distribution, preferably in water, wastewater, or industrial waste treatment facilities.



  • EIT registration required in the State of California; PE (CA) highly preferred (or ability to obtain within 1 year).






  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and power distribution systems (120/208V and 277/480V).






  • Intermediate knowledge on stand-by generator sizing.






  • Intermediate knowledge on CSI specifications.






  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to attend meetings with multidisciplinary engineering teams; be able to support multiple projects at different design stages.

Salary Range: The anticipated salary range for this position is $105,000-$150,000 annually and may vary based on education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications, and geographic location.
