Description
The Wealth Banking Product Manager, in partnership with Private Wealth leadership, shapes strategy, design, and performance management for banking, treasury, and credit solutions supporting Private Banking and NotforProfit clients within PWA. This role combines private banking, treasury, and credit expertise to deliver integrated solutions for highnetworth individuals, families, and missiondriven organizations. Serving as a subject matter expert, the role defines solution strategy and success metrics while partnering across Relationship Management, Credit, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Compliance. While business leaders retain P&L ownership, this position provides strategic and performance insights to drive sustainable growth, strong risk discipline, and a highquality client experience.
- Define and continuously evolve the Wealth Banking solution strategy and multiyear roadmap for Private Banking and NFP businesses.
- Architect integrated banking, treasury, payment, and credit solutions aligned to client needs and enterprise priorities.
- Conduct market research, segmentation analysis, and competitive benchmarking to inform strategic decisions.
- Identify emerging trends, technologies, and market opportunities to enhance client experience and operational effectiveness.
- Performance Management & Financial Insight
- Establish and monitor performance frameworks and success metrics for Wealth Banking solutions, including growth, adoption, client outcomes, profitability trends, and risk indicators.
- Partner with Private Banking and NFP Directors, Finance, and Credit to support overall business performance for deposit, payment, and lending solutions.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to inform pricing strategies, solution enhancements, and investment prioritization.
- Develop and evaluate business cases for new capabilities, solution enhancements, and modernization initiatives.
- Define and maintain dashboards tracking utilization, margin trends, portfolio performance, and client engagement.
- Lifecycle Oversight & Optimization
- Guide solutions through concept, launch, scaling, and ongoing optimization.
- Collaborate with Technology, Operations, and Digital teams to modernize platforms, streamline processes, and improve timetomarket.
- Use performance data and client feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Credit Strategy & Performance Leadership
- Provide strategic oversight for Private Banking and NFP credit solutions and lending structures.
- Partner with Credit Administration to influence credit strategy, underwriting frameworks, and policy evolution.
- Monitor portfolio performance and risk trends, providing insight and recommendations to business and credit leaders.
- Risk, Compliance & Governance
- Ensure Wealth Banking solutions align with regulatory requirements, internal risk appetite, and governance standards.
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams on product reviews, audits, and control processes.
- Proactively identify risk or compliance considerations and support mitigation planning.
- Client Insight & Segment Leadership
- Engage Private Bankers, Relationship Managers, and clients to gather insights and validate solution effectiveness.
- Translate client and frontline feedback into strategic enhancements and priorities.
- Represent Wealth Banking solutions in client discussions and selected vendor or partner engagements.
- CrossFunctional Influence & Leadership
- Lead crossfunctional working groups to promote alignment, execution, and accountability.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on solution strategy, performance, and client impact.
- Mentor and support colleagues across Wealth Banking and adjacent functions without direct people management responsibility.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience across wealth banking, product, credit, or related disciplines, including at least three (3) years supporting Private Banking, highnetworth clients, nonprofit organizations, or lending solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree (MBA or related advanced degree).
- Expertise in Private Banking credit products or nonprofit lending.
- Experience partnering with Credit Administration.
- Relevant certifications (CTP, CFA, AAP, CRCM, or similar).
- Experience with deposit, payment, and credit solutions.
- Strong analytical, financial, and strategic planning skills.
- Proven ability to influence across lines of business.
