Medical Assistant - Outpatient Baltimore, MD Pay From: $20 per hour MUST: 2 plus years of experience as a Medical Assistant Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Administer immunization records Experienced and proficient with EMR (MedConnect or IDX is a plus) Ability to obtain vitals and room patients Experience obtaining pre-authorizations Process labs and prescriptions Hard working with a positive attitude Experience triaging patients Confident with clinical ability Strong customer service skills Must have the ability to pick up new skills easily Must be proactive, detailed and organized DUTIES: Duties will include but not be limited to the following: Rooming patients Obtaining vitals Triaging patients Processing Labs Obtain pre-authorizations and processing prescriptions Assist physicians with exams and procedures Enter patient information into computer system-EMR Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
