Job Description

Job Summary: The Loan Quality Control Specialist is responsible for validating the accuracy and integrity of loan data input into the Bank's core operating system, COCC, by the Loan Servicing team. Additionally, the Loan Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for the review of loan maintenance and rate changes. This role demands a high degree of accuracy, diligence, and attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Review loan modification documents to verify proper structure, approvals, and adherence to established lending guidelines.
  • Review loan closing packages for completeness, as well as accuracy against approved terms and loan presentation
  • Upload and onboard new loans into the core system, ensuring all data fields and supporting documentation are entered correctly.
  • Assessment of completed loan modification packages and upload for processing
  • Perform daily loan quality control reviews to identify discrepancies, ensure data integrity, and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Daily review of loan rate changes performed by Loan Servicing team to verify completeness and accuracy
  • Verify post-closing loan documentation has been imaged and second review of applicable checklist, while maintaining complete and organized loan files.

Experience and Skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • Advanced knowledge of loan documentation, including required forms, disclosures, and supporting materials, with responsibility for establishing review standards, providing guidance to staff, and ensuring compliance throughout the loan lifecycle.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to oversee complex workflows, identify trends or recurring issues, and implement corrective actions in a highly regulated environment.
  • Proven self-directed leader with the ability to manage priorities, delegate effectively, and proactively resolve issues while meeting operational and regulatory deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example and model Needham Bank's Core Values, including focusing on customer relationships, embracing change, collaborating as a team, serving the community, committing to continuous learning, and upholding the highest ethical standards.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE



  • 2 years' banking operations
  • Microsoft experience
  • Basic knowledge of loan documentation

PAY RANGE: $25.73 - $33.45

The pay range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the pay range for this job at the time of posting. Actual pay may vary based on experience, skills, and market factors; additional compensation may apply.
