Job Description

The IT Analyst provides advanced technical support for information systems, manufacturing technologies, and enduser computing within an
electrical motor manufacturing environment. This role focuses on resolving complex hardware, software, network, and manufacturing system issues while supporting production uptime and continuous improvement. Serves as the plant contact point for IT support and works closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and Corporate IT teams.

Responsibilities
Provide Plant support for hardware, software, network, and system issues
* Troubleshoot complex incidents affecting manufacturing operations and business systems
* Support Oracle modules such as Manufacturing, Inventory, BoM, Purchasing, Finance, and Supply Chain (as applicable)
* Minimize downtime through rapid diagnosis and resolution of IT and OT issues
* Assist with workstation and industrial PC support on the shop floor
* Work with Engineering and Maintenance teams to support automation, testing equipment, and data collection systems
* Support Windowsbased endpoints, servers, printers, and network devices
* Participate in IT and manufacturing technology projects, including upgrades and deployments
* Assist with testing, documentation, and user training during system changes
* Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to reduce support incidents
* Assist in tracking IT assets, licenses, and inventory

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

* Associate or bachelor's degree; Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience and qualifications.
* 4-7 years of technical support experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, switches, printers, wireless)
* Experience supporting ERP and/or MES systems
* Familiarity with industrial IT/OT environments and manufacturing processes
* Understanding of cybersecurity principles in a production environment
Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand for extended periods
* Ability to lift to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
* Work in a manufacturing environment with machinery, noise, and controlled materials
