Kratos is seeking an Asset & License Coordinator for SATCOM and Space Ground Systems projects varying in size and complexity. The Asset & License Coordinator will work on developmental and operational projects and programs and be part of the cross functional teams assigned to meet the contractual requirements of the projects and programs.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:



  • Maintain software license inventories, entitlement records, and renewal documentation across organizational and program activities
  • Coordinate software entitlement tracking, usage documentation, and licensing accountability activities
  • Monitor license expirations, maintenance periods, and renewal timelines to support operational continuity and compliance objectives
  • Support software compliance reviews, audit activities, and organizational governance initiatives through accurate record maintenance and reporting
  • Maintain licensing records, controlled documentation, tracking repositories, and associated administrative data systems
  • Coordinate with IT, Procurement, Cybersecurity, Program teams, and Configuration Management personnel regarding licensing, documentation, and accountability activities
  • Support Configuration Management (CM) and Document Management (DM) operations, including controlled document handling, records organization, and configuration status tracking activities
  • Maintain document repositories, retention activities, and configuration/accountability records in accordance with organizational processes and governance expectations
  • Reconcile discrepancies between licensing records, documentation repositories, and operational usage information to ensure data accuracy and accountability
  • Generate reports, metrics, status summaries, and administrative analyses for leadership and operational stakeholders
  • Support organizational governance, operational accountability, and audit readiness efforts through disciplined record maintenance and cross-functional coordination
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement related to licensing administration, documentation management, and operational tracking activities

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience supporting software licensing, document management, configuration support activities, administrative governance, or related operational functions
  • Experience maintaining tracking repositories, inventories, documentation records, or administrative data systems
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, accountability, and record accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and operational activities in a structured environment
  • Working knowledge of software licensing processes, maintenance renewals, entitlement tracking, or compliance support activities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, support teams, vendors, and leadership personnel
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with tracking or repository tools such as SharePoint, ServiceNow, CMPro, or similar systems preferred
  • Demonstrated professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive, controlled, or organizational information
  • Travel as required to support organizational or program activities (~10% travel)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, Secret and/or TS/SCI


Preferred Skills and Experience



  • Experience supporting Configuration Management (CM) and/or Document Management (DM) activities
  • Experience with audit support, compliance activities, or organizational governance processes
  • Understanding of configuration status tracking, document control, or administrative support activities
  • Active security clearance preferred
  • Experience in supporting DoD & Government Contracts
  • Handling CDRLs & SDRLs
  • Experience in projects related to Satellite ground communication projects/programs

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Competitive salary based on experience and education
Salary Range: $105,000-$115,000
