What You'll Be Doing:
  • Leading the development and integration of multi-physics simulation technologies with advanced AI functionality to accelerate semiconductor design optimization.
  • Driving the creation of generative AI surrogate models that enable rapid design iterations and exploration of expansive design spaces.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams-including software, hardware, and AI experts-to deliver seamless solutions for GPU, HPC, AI chip, smartphone processor, and analog IC designs.
  • Defining and executing the R&D roadmap for next-generation simulation and analysis products, aligning with Synopsys' strategic goals.
  • Mentoring and guiding a diverse team of engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Engaging with key customers and industry partners to understand emerging needs, validate solutions, and drive adoption of new technologies.
  • Representing Synopsys at industry events, conferences, and customer forums to showcase our leadership in simulation and AI-driven design.

What You'll Need:
  • PhD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field.
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in R&D leadership roles within the semiconductor or EDA industry.
  • Deep expertise in multi-physics simulation, computational modeling, and AI-driven optimization techniques.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, high-impact technology products from concept to market adoption.
  • Strong understanding of GPU, HPC, AI chip, and analog IC design flows and requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning, surrogate modeling, and data-driven design methodologies.
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices and large-scale system integration.
