DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position leads and manages the electronic health records system across state health centers and supports strong public health services. The role ensures the system runs smoothly, meets standards, and supports informed decisions. As an Electronic Health Records Manager, you will perform the following duties:
- System Leadership: Direct planning, development, and ongoing improvement of the electronic health record system
- Vendor Management: Oversee contracts, monitor vendor performance, and ensure services meet requirements
- Team Supervision: Guide staff, assign work, and determine long-term staffing needs for system support
- Operations Oversight: Manage daily system performance, resolve issues, and maintain reliable system access
- Policy Development: Create and enforce procedures that support consistent and secure system use
- Data Governance: Ensure proper data use, reporting, security, and alignment with department standards

- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Seven years of professional experience in development or evaluation of grants, contracts or programs for the provision of social, employment , environmental health or health related services, which includes one year of administrative, supervisory or consultative experience; or
- One year as a Public Health Program Administrator (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- An associate's degree in allied health sciences or nursing and five years of professional experience in the development or evaluation of grants, contracts or programs for the provision of social, employment, environmental health, or health related services, which includes one year of administrative, supervisory or consultative experience; or
- A bachelor's degree and three years of professional public health, health, allied health sciences, drug and alcohol or related experience, which includes one year of administrative, supervisory or consultative experience; or
- A bachelor's degree and three years of professional experience in the development or evaluation of grants, contracts or programs for the provision of social, employment, environmental health, or health related services, which includes one year of administrative, supervisory or consultative experience; or
- A master's degree in public health, health services administration, health care administration, health education, public health administration, public administration, nursing, epidemiology, social work, nutrition, hospital administration, physical therapy, occupational therapy, business administration, or education and two years of professional experience in the development or evaluation of grants, contracts or programs for the provision of social, employment, environmental health or health related services, which includes one year of administrative, supervisory or consultative experience.
