As an Intern Office of the CEO at RXO, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting business operations, executive initiatives, and analytics projects within a fast-paced transportation environment. You'll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to help track action items, support operational reporting, and contribute to projects that drive business performance and continuous improvement. What you'll do on a typical day:
- Attend meetings with senior leadership and business stakeholders to capture key takeaways, action items and project updates
- Track follow-up items and communicate status updates to ensure projects and initiatives stay on schedule
- Support operational reporting, data tracking and analytics projects to help identify trends and business opportunities
- Assist with administrative and operational coordination activities across multiple teams and departments
- Develop and maintain organized documentation, meeting notes and project trackers
- Collaborate with business leaders to support process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
- Gain exposure to transportation, logistics and business operations functions across RXO
- Participate in special projects that support company goals and solve real business challenges
What you need to succeed at RXO: At a minimum, you'll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent, and currently pursuing a bachelor's degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
It'd be great if you also have:
- Education toward a bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Analytical mindset with an interest in business operations, reporting, and process improvement
- Self-motivated work style with the ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality while supporting leadership initiatives
