Position Summary The Recruiting Specialist provides full-cycle recruitment including attracting, sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding and other recruitment related functions as well as diversity initiatives. Provides professional support in recruitment; screening, scheduling, and managing candidate workflow within the applicant tracking system, and collaborating with both hiring managers and HR business partners. Duties & Responsibilities* Manage full cycle recruiting process for assigned businesses from preparing the requisition, identifying and screening talent to offer stage for entry to mid-level roles. * Conduct intake call with the hiring manager to gather information about the role to help identify strong candidates. * Review applications, conduct phone screens, evaluate candidate's qualifications, submit the most qualified candidates that align with Busey company values for review by the hiring manager. * Facilitate and participate in the interviewing and hiring process, schedule individual/ team interviews, prepare offer letters and submit background checks. * Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. * Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. * Collaborate with HR business partners to gain insights into staffing needs within the line of business. * Update and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS). * Create and develop sourcing strategies to identify candidates that will convert into interested candidates. * Act as a brand ambassador attending career fairs and community events to maintain ongoing efforts in developing a diverse pool of candidates. Knowledge of: Exceptional organizational and administrative skills Maintain confidentiality; adhere to Busey's policies and procedures; comply with laws, regulations and industry best practices Self-starter who can remain flexible and comfortable with ambiguity Associates degree, preferably in human resources, communication, business or related courses or equivalent work experience One or more years of progressive experience in corporate recruiting, preferably with a multi-state, service-based organization. Previous experience in a banking or financial institution is a plus. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and various other recruiting platforms; Workday is a plus. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time with frequent interruptions and strict time constraints Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to build working relationships Proficient technical skills in Microsoft Office Compensation and Benefits Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.
