Registered Nurse positions are available at levels I, II, or III, depending on experience and education. * New to OU Health? Location: University of Oklahoma Medical Center Shift Full-Time- typically 7a-7p - Call required Our acute dialysis program provides critical renal replacement therapy across the hospital, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. We operate an 8-station unit and deliver mobile bedside care in the ICU. You will work with a skilled team to manage complex, high-acuity patients, ensuring seamless care for both stable inpatients and unstable, critically ill patients. General Description: An OU Health Registered Nurse (RN) I works under general supervision, providing the highest quality of care to patients in a hospital setting with health problems ranging from simple to complex. RN I represents the nurse who is a novice or an advanced beginner advancing to competent. While advancing from novice to competent, the nurse relies on rules rather than principles which are independent of specific situations. The advanced beginner may have enough real experience to begin to formulate principles. Essential Responsibilities
*Minimum Qualifications (RN I): Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Experience:0-3 years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse. Minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute operating room environment or employees with less than one (1) year of acute operating room experience may substitute experience with the completion of department orientation or completion of RN residency program. License/Certification/Registration:
*Minimum Qualifications (RN II): Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse required. Minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute operating room environment or employees with less than one (1) year of acute operating room experience may substitute experience with the completion of department orientation or completion of RN residency program. License/Certification/Registration:
