TITLE: Production Assistant (Temporary)

DEPARTMENT: Multimedia Ministries

STATUS: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

PAY RATE: $17.00

Scope of Position

The Production Assistant position is a temporary non-exempt position, tentatively scheduled for June 1, 2026, through August 12, 2026, to assist in the many and varied responsibilities of the Department of Multimedia Ministries. This position will provide support on-set for video productions, on events for live streaming needs, and in the office for maintenance and clerical needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities




  1. Assist Cinematography Manager in building, operating and maintaining of camera and other production equipment


  2. Assist Producers in various pre-production needs, such as filing of film permits, pick-up and return of rental equipment, vehicle maintenance


  3. Assist in loading, unloading and driving of equipment vehicles.


  4. Assist as necessary on location video shoots


  5. Assist on production of territorial events as necessary


  6. Ability to work on weekends as necessary


  7. Be available to travel as needed


  8. Perform other duties as assigned




Qualifications and Key Skills



  • Demonstrate a base level understanding of production equipment and terminology
  • Demonstrate a willingness to accept direction and instruction from a variety of team members
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • A knowledge and experience with Salvation Army beliefs and practices preferred



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.   • Ability to operate a desktop or laptop computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (usually file boxes).
  • Ability to access and produce information from a computer.
  • Ability to understand written information.
