Midwest Veterinary Supply is hiring for a 100% onsite Inside Sales Support Clerk in our Norristown, PA location.

The Inside Sales Support Clerk provides essential administrative and customer support to Inside Sales Representatives, enabling greater focus on clinic relationships. Responsibilities include order and return processing, report generation, customer communications, mailings, and occasional receptionist coverage.

Job Duties:
Customer Service & Front-Desk Coverage

Answer incoming calls and route appropriately
Assist customers with inquiries and order placement
Enter orders accurately and timely; provide promotional information
Cover Receptionist duties during breaks, lunch, or absences
Support blitz accounts; assist with faxing, literature distribution, and copying.

Sales & Inside Sales Representative (ISR) Administrative Support

Coordinate promotions and view/release internet orders for ISRs when out.
Handle returns, credits, rebills, mis-ships, and manufacturer (e.g., Purina) returns.
Obtain manager approvals; create RAs and call tags; communicate with customers and manufacturers.
Assist Team Lead and Call Center Manager with sales reports, goal tracking, spiff tracking, and meeting coordination.

Order Management, Status Monitoring & Logistics Coordination

Monitor company-wide order "A" status throughout the day and notify ISRs.
Track ISR orders via carrier websites.
Coordinate with shipping and operations to resolve order issues.
Review orders, check expiration dates, and gather product information from the warehouse.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required for full-time employees
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
Basic computer skills, ability to operate a Windows-based computer and data entry
Ability to differentiate details related to product codes and descriptions (such as verifying a string of numbers)
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentages.
Ability to work well with others and independently

Mental & Physical Demands:

Attention to detail to assure accuracy for presentation of material
Regular interaction with people
Daily deadlines may result in a fast pace of work and stress
Continuous use of hands for writing and use of computer keyboard, working with a relevant volume of data to include alpha and numeric detail
Continuous use of a computer monitor requiring close vision
Ability to use a telephone - listening and speaking
Ability to work at a desk throughout the day
Ability to occasionally sort boxes of printed material weighing up to 35 pounds

Work Environment:

Work is typically performed Monday through Friday in an office environment. Work will typically be performed Monday through Friday. Working more than 40 hours per workweek may be required.
