Information Security Engineer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Information Security Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Chandler, AZ, or Irving, TX. This is a contract to hire opportunity.

This role provides technical engineering and operational support for an automated password reset application, which is built on the Bravura Password Manager platform. This position is not a software development role. The focus is on platform stability, configuration, integration support, operational stability, risk reduction, and day-to-day operational health of the application.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical operational support for the application platform and Bravura Password Manager
• Support configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of integrations with enterprise credential systems (e.g., Active Directory, Oracle, mainframe platforms, non AD systems)
• Assist in incident response and root cause analysis for related production issues
• Support platform upgrades, vendor patches, and post upgrade stabilization activities
• Perform environment validation and health checks across DEV, QA, and PROD
• Support access, entitlement, and password-management workflows across integrated systems
• Collaborate with software engineers, IAM architects, and service owners to ensure smooth handoffs between development and operations
• Participate in Agile ceremonies as a platform SME (stand ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives)
• Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and operational readiness artifacts

Requirements:

• 4 years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• 3-5 years of experience with Password or Credential Management
• Experience with SQL and Python
• Knowledge of LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol, associated with Active Directory)
• Ability to take initiative and dive into troubleshooting

Desired skills:

• 1-2 years of software development experience to contribute to being able to read code
• CISSP certification
• Experience in a regulated industry (Finance or Healthcare)

Pay range: $43.59 - $51.59 per hour
