Career Level: P3 Primary Purpose: Executes environmental compliance activities and ensures operational practices meet regulatory obligations. Serves as a resource for internal teams by interpreting requirements and supporting initiatives that reduce environmental risk. This team provides a high level of environmental technical expertise related to stormwater and water quality compliance and permitting requirements for both existing and proposed company capital projects and operations. The role manages stormwater permitting and compliance for multiple construction projects subject to the State's Construction General Permit (CGP), including implementation of Best Management Practices (BMPs), monitoring requirements, and adherence to stormwater ordinances across various cities and municipalities within SDG&E's service territory. The team also supports field personnel, project managers, and environmental representatives by interpreting regulatory requirements and permit conditions, and by ensuring that all operations remain fully compliant with stormwater and water quality regulations and company standards.
