What You'll Do:


Pelican is looking for a detail-driven Returns Coordinator to own and optimize the returns process within our distribution operation. In this role, you'll be at the center of product flow-managing returned inventory, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring products are processed accurately and efficiently. You'll work closely with warehouse teams and cross-functional partners to improve workflows, maintain inventory integrity, and deliver a high level of service.




  • Own the end-to-end returns process-from receiving and inspection to disposition and inventory updates
  • Verify product condition and ensure compliance with quality and operational standards
  • Process and track returns within inventory and order management systems with speed and accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to returns, inventory, and order fulfillment
  • Repack, relabel, and return approved products to inventory while coordinating disposition of damaged materials
  • Monitor return workflows and prioritize activities to meet service expectations and deadlines
  • Partner with Warehouse, Quality, and Customer Service teams to resolve issues and improve customer experience
  • Perform audits and spot checks to ensure compliance with SOPs and inventory accuracy
  • Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement while escalating risks when needed
  • Train and support team members on returns procedures and quality standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned



What We're Looking For:



  • 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, returns processing, or inventory control.
  • Experience coordinating workflows or processes within a distribution or operational environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with warehouse management or inventory systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and functions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple workflows, and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across severalU.S. geographic markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The annual U.S. pay range for this positionis listed below. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
