What You'll Do:
- Translate business and technical requirements into end-to-end infrastructure and platform architectures.
- Define data center and colocation hosting models, resiliency tiers, redundancy patterns, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Align infrastructure solutions with Azure landing zone principles, including identity, governance, networking, and security.
- Design secure connectivity and network segmentation between Azure and on-premises or colocation environments.
- Develop operational support models including monitoring, telemetry, maintenance planning, and lifecycle management.
- Create reusable reference architectures, standards, and infrastructure design patterns.
- Participate in architecture governance reviews to ensure compliance and standards alignment.
- Communicate technical strategies and architecture decisions to both technical and business stakeholders while supporting implementation teams.
- Solution Designs: Documented target-state architectures for Azure and colo/data center deployments, including resiliency and operational models.
- Reference Architectures & Patterns: Reusable patterns for common workload types and hosting approaches in Azure and colo/data center environments.
- Connectivity & Segmentation Designs: Standard approaches for secure connectivity, routing, and segmentation between environments.
- Operational Readiness Package: Monitoring approach, runbooks, ownership model, lifecycle/patching approach, and DR posture aligned to architecture decisions.
- Decision Records & Documentation: Architecture decisions, trade-offs, dependency maps, and implementation guidance for delivery teams.
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 9+ years of experience in solution architecture, infrastructure architecture, or platform engineering roles with demonstrated data center/colo responsibilities.
- Minimum of 9+ years of experience with multiple programming languages
- Minimum of 9+ years of experience in software or service engineering and delivery
- Minimum of 9+ years of experience in developing and integrating applications using relevant software architecture principles and patterns
- Minimum of 9+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure expertise: app design, connectivity, resiliency, etc.
- Minimum of 9+ years of experience in Design scalable, compliant endtoend solution architectures
- Minimum of 9+ years of experience in Clear stakeholder communication across business, tech, and risk
What Sets You Apart:

- Master's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Azure Solutions Architect (or similar Azure architecture credential).
- Experience working in two or more technical roles related to banking technical design
- Experience in delivering technology and enterprise-level presentations
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Industry-recognized certification in programming languages and cloud technologies
- Experience working in the financial services industry
- Experience in financial services or other regulated environments with strong operational rigor and compliance awareness.
- Enterprise solution architecture experience with data center and colocation hosting models.
- Strong architectural knowledge of availability, resiliency, disaster recovery, and operational readiness patterns.
- Azure platform architecture fundamentals, including identity and access, network topology, governance guardrails, and operations management concepts.
- Strong documentation and visualization skills (architecture diagrams, dependency maps, data flows, and decision records).
- Leadership and collaboration skills in Agile/DevOps environments; ability to guide delivery without becoming an implementation bottleneck.
- Analytical problem-solving for complex infrastructure constraints (performance, latency, reliability, and cost).
- Data Center / Colocation: Redundancy concepts, fault domains, hosting models, capacity planning considerations, and operational support practices.
- Disaster Recovery: Failover/failback concepts, recovery objectives, testing expectations, and resiliency trade-offs.
- Azure Landing Zone Concepts: Identity and access as a primary security boundary; subscription and resource organization impacts; network topology and connectivity foundations; security, governance, and operational management baselines.
- Monitoring Foundations: Understanding of telemetry (logs, metrics, traces, events) required to support early detection and effective incident response.
