Principal Business Analyst - P&C Insurance Policy and Claims Administration Location: Remote - United States Are you an experienced P&C Insurance Business Analyst who thrives in complex policy administration and claims implementations? Join our implementation services team and help leading insurance organizations deliver compliant, scalable, and high-quality Majesco Policy and Majesco Claims solutions.
This role is ideal for a business analyst with deep Property & Casualty insurance expertise who can translate business requirements, regulatory updates, and operational workflows into execution-ready solutions across both policy and claims domains. You will play a critical role in driving successful Majesco implementations by reducing ambiguity, improving delivery predictability, and ensuring regulatory and operational accuracy across policy administration and claims management workflows.
What You Will Do
* Lead the end-to-end requirements lifecycle for P&C insurance policy administration and claims implementations
* Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, functional specifications, workflows, and acceptance criteria
* Analyze and interpret ISO and NCCI regulatory updates to support compliant policy configuration and downstream claims impacts
* Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and delivery teams to define scalable policy and claims solutions
* Support Majesco Policy configuration across policy lifecycle, rating, underwriting, and policy processing workflows
* Support Majesco Claims configuration and business analysis across FNOL, claim intake, coverage verification, claim and feature setup, assignment, reserving, payments, recoveries, subrogation, salvage, litigation, negotiation, vendor management, and claim close/reopen workflows
* Facilitate alignment between policy administration and claims processes, including integrations, coverage validation, and operational handoffs
* Manage and refine Agile backlogs to ensure development readiness and reduce downstream rework
* Conduct impact analysis and maintain traceability across requirements, testing, and implementation deliverables
* Define test scenarios and support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT)
* Facilitate stakeholder workshops to align business objectives, technical requirements, and delivery priorities
* Identify process improvement and automation opportunities that improve implementation quality and operational efficiency across both policy and claims operations
What You Bring
* 8 plus years of experience as a Business Analyst within Property & Casualty insurance environments
* Strong expertise in P&C insurance operations across Policy, Rating, Underwriting, and Claims
* Experience interpreting ISO and NCCI circulars and translating regulatory changes into business and system requirements
* Hands-on experience with policy administration and/or claims platforms such as Majesco, Guidewire, or Duck Creek
* Experience with Majesco Policy and Majesco Claims functional areas, including policy lifecycle transactions and core claims processes such as FNOL, coverage verification, reserving, financials, recoveries, and litigation workflows
* Experience supporting insurance software implementations or digital transformation programs
* Strong Agile delivery experience including backlog management, sprint planning, and JIRA usage
* Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills
* Ability to simplify complex workflows and drive alignment across business and technical teams
* Experience working across integrated policy and claims business processes is strongly preferred

You will help teams deliver compliant, scalable policy administration and claims solutions while driving stakeholder alignment and minimizing rework across the implementation lifecycle. Success also means improving coordination between policy and claims teams so that requirements, integrations, and operational workflows work seamlessly from policy issuance through claim resolution.

Majesco is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000.
