Quality Shipping Coordinator

Key Responsibilities & Skills

  • Quality Control: Implementing 100% quality gate inspections at critical manufacturing stages to identify defects (functional and aesthetic) before shipment.
  • Logistics Coordination: Scheduling shipments, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Documentation & Accuracy: Reviewing shipping documents (packing lists, bills of lading) and maintaining inventory records.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all packing and loading adheres to safety and quality standards.
  • System Usage: Utilizing tools such as SAP for order entry and invoicing

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 1- 2 years in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP (specifically warehouse management modules) and Microsoft Office.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain is often preferred.

Core Responsibilities

  • Quality Inspection: Verify the overall quality of products before dispatch, identifying functional or aesthetic defects to prevent shipping damaged goods.
  • Shipment Coordination: Organize daily shipping activities, including arranging Parcel, Less than Truck Load (LTL), and Full Truck Load (FTL) shipments.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain essential shipping records such as Bills of Lading (BOL), packing lists, and customs declarations.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure that physical stock matches the SAP or ERP system data.
  • Issue Resolution: Research quality errors, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for mislabeled or mixed products.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain constant communication with project managers, production lines, and carriers to provide real-time tracking and delivery updates.
