Job Summary:
The Technical Training Content Creator is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality technical and digital training content that enables manufacturing and operational excellence. This role blends technical writing, instructional design, and hands-on content creation to translate complex systems, processes, and procedures into clear, engaging, and learner-centered training assets.

Key Responsibilities:
* Create and maintain training materials including digital training modules, work instructions, job aids, one point lessons, videos, and photo-based documentation.

* Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to capture, document, and translate technical architecture, processes, and standard work into learner-ready content.
* Capture video and photographic content on the plant floor and edit assets for training use.
* Apply instructional design principles (ADDIE, TWI Job Instruction, or similar) to ensure content is effective, concise, and aligned to learner needs.
* Conduct needs analysis to prioritize work with the biggest impact on plant production.

* Coordinate translation, testing, deployment, and rollout of training materials.
* Ensure materials meet corporate branding, visual, quality, and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Instructional Design, Communications, English, or a related field OR equivalent 3-5 years of relevant experience.
* Manufacturing or industrial environment experience required.

Technical Skills:
* Strong technical writing and editing skills.
* Video and photo capture, production, and editing experience.
* Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Excel).
* Experience with digital content development tools such as Articulate Rise/Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
* Familiarity with Training Within Industry (TWI) methodologies is a plus.

Additional Skills:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Self-driven, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Collaborative working style with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Comfortable working on-site in manufacturing environments.

Working Conditions

Aspects of working in a food manufacturing environment will be trained, and expectations will be maintained. Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)/Standard Operating procedures related to appropriate uniforms, gloves, shoes, hair nets, etc as well as Experience with Safe Quality Food (SQF) practices and Food Safety requirement and documentation practices is preferred. Fast-paced and congested areas are present throughout the facility; working around fork trucks and other moving equipment is required. The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to include but not limited to: safety toe shoes, ear plugs, safety glasses/goggles, bump caps, hair and beard nets, and gloves.
