Location Address: 2400 Unser Blvd Rio Rancho, NM 87124Compensation Pay Range: Minimum Offer $15.99 Maximum Offer $23.76Summary: This position provides primary support to the provider by proactively anticipating the provider needs, preparing the patient for the visit using established patient preparation guidelines, maintaining efficient patient flow, and assisting the provider with treatments and procedures. Performs procedures with completed and documented competency within the PHS policy and under the supervision of a provider. Provides support for clerical functions to include scheduling and arriving patients for appointments. Performs activities to maintain a clean, stocked, safe, and well-organized patient care environment. Provides in-basket support with the EMR. Responsibilities: Direct Care Activities: Presbyterian Healthcare is seeking a Wound Treatment Assistant to provide essential support to providers and ensure efficient, high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities include preparing patients and treatment areas according to established patient preparation guidelines. Assist providers with treatments and procedures under supervision. Support clerical functions, including scheduling, referrals, transcribing orders, prior authorizations, and EMR in-basket management.
