Job Title: .NET Full Stack Developer

Location(s): Richmond, VA

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the technical and functional development and maintenance of support systems from user requests through the business objective statement, business process definition, requirements definition, full system construction, implementation and post-implementation review and maintenance. Additionally, this position will assist with the research, integration, development, and implementation of tools, technologies, methods, and systems, which expand or enhance delivery of DMV services directly to customers, employees, and business partners. The incumbent of this position will primarily focus on the transitioning of legacy systems from the agency's mainframe to a .NET-based technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET, Angular with Typescript, and Entity Framework.
  • Work with SQL Server databases, including table design, writing SQL, and working with stored procedures.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance application delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with Agile development methodologies and software lifecycle processes.
  • Document code and processes via technical writing and diagrams.
Required Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience in .NET development, with current working experience in C# and/or VB.NET.
  • Current working experience in UI/UX design using Angular.
  • Experience in full-stack development, including front-end and back-end system integrations.
  • Experience using web development and performance testing tools such as Postman, Node.js, Node Package Manager, and Visual Studio Code.
  • Experience in system integration, technical troubleshooting, and creating scalable solutions.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding team members, fostering knowledge sharing, and enhancing technical skills within the team.
