Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Senior Principal Enterprise & Solution Architect

At Memorial Sloan Kettering, the Senior Principal Enterprise & Solution Architect plays a critical role in shaping enterprise transformation through data, analytics, and AI. Reporting into the Chief Data & Analytics Officer, this role will partner closely with executive leaders, this role evaluates organizational readiness, surfaces strategic opportunities, and helps define a clear, actionable path forward for the enterprise.

Combining hands-on assessment work with executive-level storytelling, you'll translate complex insights into clear, persuasive narratives. Your work will inform high-stakes decisions, align diverse stakeholders, and help advance MSK's long-term vision for data- and AI-driven impact!

Role Overview

  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor and thought partner to executive and board level leaders, shaping enterprise perspectives on data, analytics, and AI readiness and helping guide high stakes decisions

  • Lead rapid, enterprise wide assessments of data and AI maturity, evaluating capabilities across people, process, technology, and governance to inform long term transformation strategy

  • Design and facilitate in depth interviews, workshops, and working sessions with senior leaders and key stakeholders to surface priorities, constraints, risks, and opportunities

  • Synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative inputs into clear, cohesive insights that resonate with senior audiences and drive alignment

  • Translate assessment findings into practical, actionable recommendations, investment themes, and prioritized roadmaps for executive consumption

  • Develop compelling, executive ready narratives, presentations, and visual storytelling that communicate gaps, tradeoffs, risks, and transformation pathways with clarity

  • Influence decision making across functions without formal authority, constructively challenging assumptions and guiding leaders toward data informed outcomes

  • Partner closely with data, analytics, and technology teams to validate findings and ensure recommendations are grounded in operational and technical reality

  • Operate effectively in ambiguity, adapting in real time as new insights emerge and maintaining momentum across complex, sensitive initiatives

Key Qualifications

  • Extensive experience influencing executive leadership on enterprise data, analytics, AI, or technology strategy

  • Proven success leading enterprise assessments, diagnostics, or large scale transformation initiatives

  • Strong understanding of modern data platforms, cloud architectures, and hyperscale environments (e.g., AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Google Cloud)

  • Experience operating within large, complex, matrixed organizations

  • Ability to work independently at a senior level while managing multiple high impact priorities

  • Demonstrated success delivering results in fast paced, evolving, and ambiguous environments

  • Executive level communication and the ability to translate complexity into compelling strategic narratives

  • Strong influencing skills, including the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders without authority

  • Analytical rigor paired with practical judgment and business acumen

  • Schedule: Hybrid; 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday

Pay Range: $202,300.00 - $343,700.00 FSLA Status: Exempt
