We are looking for a passionate and proactive individual to join our client's security engineering team. **What You'll Do:**

* Proactively monitor and analyze new and emerging security threats from diverse sources.

* Collaborate on developing and implementing detection mechanisms to counter identified threats.

* Apply your expertise in network security fundamentals to enhance system protection.

* Contribute to the design and implementation of robust security architectures.

* Troubleshoot complex network security issues, leveraging your analytical skills to ensure continuous operation.

* Work hands-on with containerization and orchestration technologies to secure modern applications.

* Engage in development and scripting activities to automate security processes and improve efficiency.

**Required Qualifications:**

*Ping Experience the manager is looking for the following - would be preferred if they have any federation experience or in related IAM technologies .

*3-5 years of experience with dev experience ( scripting, python etc ) hands on with kubernetes, SSO domain experience would be preferable.

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.

* 2-5 years of hands-on experience in security implementation.

* Demonstrated working knowledge of Linux operating systems, Firewalls, Virtual Private Networking (VPN), Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and penetration testing methodologies.

* Strong technical track record with hands-on experience in many of the following: L2/L3 firewalls, application layer security, anti-virus solutions, spyware/malcode tools, DDOS mitigation, traffic profiling/anomaly detection, wireless security, and Voice over IP (VoIP) security.

* Proficiency in troubleshooting network traces and complex security incidents.

* Experience working with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

* Development experience, including scripting languages like Python.

* Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.

* Excellent communication skills and a proactive, self-starter mentality.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) domain concepts and implementation.

* Familiarity with identity management platforms.

* Experience with passwordless authentication solutions.
