TSC is seeking a Lean Engineer in Huntsville, AL.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead Lean projects aimed at improving process flow, increasing efficiency, and reducing non-value-added activity throughout the facility.
* Conduct value stream mapping, time studies, root-cause analysis, and other diagnostic assessments to identify improvement opportunities.
* Develop and implement solutions such as Kaizen events, Standard Work, 5S methodology, Kanban systems, and error-proofing (PokaYoke).
* Partner with production, quality, engineering, and logistics teams to improve daily operations and support strategic initiatives.
* Facilitate training and coaching on Lean principles and tools to build internal capability across departments.
* Monitor KPIs to verify effectiveness of improvement initiatives and track ongoing performance.
* Support layout redesigns, workstation optimization, and ergonomic improvements to enhance safety and reduce waste.
* Assist with the development and sustainment of a Lean Management System including visual controls, tier meetings, and continuous improvement reporting.
* Evaluate processes for compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement through hands-on engagement on the shop floor.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* 2-7 years of experience in Lean manufacturing, process engineering, or continuous improvement roles.
* Strong knowledge of Lean tools such as VSM, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, SMED, and Standard Work.
* Experience with data analysis, problem-solving methodologies, and process optimization.
* Proficiency with Excel, CAD, and process documentation tools; experience with data visualization is a plus.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and teambuilding skills.
* Ability to manage multiple lean initiatives and drive results in a fastpaced environment.
* Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) preferred.
