The production center's priorities include delivering outstanding product quality & service, while simultaneously reducing cycle times and our total cost of product. We drive business performance through a focus on operational excellence, employee engagement, and Lean improvement focus across our teams. Quality Technical Specialist The Quality Technical Specialist position provides quality expertise to support Greetings end to end SKU level execution. The QTS is responsible protecting the Hallmark brand through addressing and/or resolving product quality issues specifically nonconformance to specifications. This includes, but is not limited to, SMART design, color reproduction, print and manufacturing. The Quality Technical Specialist integrates technical skills, manufacturing and materials knowledge and practical experience to ensure high quality Greetings/GPPE Product for the marketplace. The QTS also works with production center leadership on the execution of the Employee Own Quality System, problem solving quality issues, quality process improvement and analysis of quality metrics to drive results. This position is based in the Lawrence Production Center. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree OR 4 years of experience in manufacturing or quality role
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a supply chain, product development, product quality or creative technical role.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in a quality/product integrity role.
PLM knowledge
Design for manufacturing experience
Deep understanding of secondary processes, palettes and process constraints.
Strong knowledge of card materials and components.
Card format experience
Strong communication and collaboration skills
