Hours: This is a full-time position - 37.5 hours per week/ M-F and Saturday 05/16/2026 (these hours are offset with a weekday, not additional).
Pay: $22.50 per hour

Northwestern University is seeking a temporary full-time Accounting Specialist for the Evanston campus.

Temporary Job Description:

Works with 3 student staff members on Box Office functions to completion. This includes, but is not limited to, discussing admission/registration implementation details with department/student group sponsors of University events; creating and ensuring ticketed/registration events proceed in a timely manner according to sponsor specifications; providing excellent customer service to ticket purchasers/registrants; running reports, reconciling, and depositing daily online sales; and invoicing/charging sponsors for Box Office services provided. Position also supports broader accounting functions such as processing deposits and creating internal sales and agency journals for the Business Operations unit. The individual should be highly organized, possess very good verbal and written communication skills, be able to transition smoothly from a slow to a highly active environment, be familiar with MS Office Suite applications (e.g., Excel), and accounting concepts and software. Will need to provide some hours of support on-site on Saturday.
