THE TEAM:

AMD's Data Center GPU organization is transforming the AI and HPC landscape. Our mission is to design and market exceptional products-anchored by our Instinct GPU portfolio-that power the next generation of computing in enterprise data centers, cloud, and supercomputing environments. If you're excited by AI disruption and want to be part of building something big, join us.

THE ROLE:

Lead rack systems planning across internal stakeholders; key component vendors and ODM partners. You will drive demand and supply alignment for rack programs, orchestrate cross-BU and engineering collaboration on rack-scale critical BOM components, build trusted relationships with ODM partners, and support development and execution of partner contractual agreements that translate plans into reliable delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demand & supply alignment with rack partners

  • Own theintegrated planning viewfor rack systems acrossall rack partners: demand signals, build/ship plans, constraints, and risks.
  • Establish arepeatable operating cadence(forecasts, allocation discussions, change control, escalation) so partner plans stay aligned withBU prioritiesandcustomer commitments.
  • Translate partner and program status into clear leadership visibility (green/yellow/red, decisions required)

Rack-scale critical BOM - cross-BU and engineering collaboration

  • Drivecross-functional and cross-BU collaborationto identify, prioritize, and managerack-scale critical BOMitems (e.g., mechanical/electrical integration points, cable/cartridge-class dependencies, CPU/NIC adjacencies, and other shared commodities as defined by the program).
  • Ensureone coherent planacross engineering, platform teams, and supply partners: ownership, timelines, alternates, and risk mitigations.
  • Partner withsupply chain / operationscounterparts to connecttechnical choicestobuildable, shippableoutcomes.

ODM partner relationships

  • Represent the BU as acredible planning counterpart: prepared, consistent, and focused onpredictable execution.

Partner agreements - development and execution

  • Partner withBusiness Development,Legal, andFinanceas needed toshape contractual frameworksthat reflectplanning realities(capacity, flexibility, milestones, liability/guardrails as applicable).
  • Supportnegotiation inputs(assumptions, scenarios, operational terms) and drivepost-signature execution discipline: what gets tracked, how variances are managed, and how disputes are escalated.
  • Ensurecontract intentshows up inweekly/monthly operating mechanisms, not only in documents.

Leadership & enablement

  • Definemetrics, dashboards, and review forumsappropriate for rack planning maturity.
  • Mentor and developdirect or matrix partners; scale the model as headcount allows.

  • Proven ability todrive cross-organizational execution(engineering + operations + business stakeholders) ontechnical dependenciesanddelivery commitments.
  • Experience contributing tocommercial agreements(SOWs, supply agreements, statement of work changes, operational exhibits)-partnership with Legal/BDexpected; you are not required to be an attorney.
  • Excellentcommunication, negotiation support, and executive storytelling.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
