Inventory Specialist - 2nd Shift (Temp Role)

Location: Framingham, MA

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

We are hiring detail-oriented Inventory Specialists for a temporary opportunity supporting a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates with inventory control, warehouse, or materials management experience who thrive in fast-paced operations and value accuracy, organization, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and update inventory systems in real time
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials for quality and accuracy
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to ensure material availability
• Organize stock locations for efficient storage and retrieval
• Prepare inventory reports and assist with audits as needed
• Support shipping and receiving operations when required
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse best practices

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management
• Experience with ERP/MRP or inventory management systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a warehouse/manufacturing setting
