Production Supervisor (Contract / Temp Role)

Location: Louisville, KY

Pay Rate: $37.94/hour

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Supervisor for a temporary assignment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising production teams, driving daily output, and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency targets are consistently met. This position offers on-the-job training, leadership development, and opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support an hourly production team to meet daily manufacturing goals
• Organize workflow to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production output
• Monitor performance and drive accountability to meet productivity and quality standards
• Ensure all safety protocols and standardized work procedures are followed
• Support continuous improvement efforts and problem-solving initiatives on the production floor
• Build strong working relationships with hourly team members, management, and union representatives
• Communicate effectively across shifts to ensure operational consistency
• Lead by example with high integrity, professionalism, and accountability

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1+ years of supervisory or manufacturing experience
• Strong problem-solving and team management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
