Title: Wire Harness Assembler
Location: Walker, MI Industry: Military Vehicles / Wire Harness Pay/Duration: 18.00 - 20.00 per hour / 4 months plus contract to hire Key Skills: Soldering / Wire Harness Assembly / IPC-A-610 / IPC-WHMA-620 / JSTD-001 Perform a wide range of complex electronic assembly and soldering operations on low voltage, high voltage, microwave or other components or subassemblies in accordance with military and/or other assembly standards using blueprints, visual aids, wiring lists, verbal and/or written instructions. Reads and interprets work instructions to ensure accuracy of work performed. Operate semi-automatic equipment such as crimp presses, sonic welder, and wire strippers. Routes, wires, and assembles electronic components using wire layout boards. Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assemblies and finished products. Prep components prior to assembly, clean components, wire bond, potting, seal, mark, and inspect components, subassemblies, or completed assemblies. Install electrical or electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using hand tools. Align, fit, or assemble component parts, using hand or power tools, fixtures, templates, or microscopes. Capable of being trained across the entire product line and working with Engineering on new or emerging products as well as producing first articles.
