Position: Junior Import Operations Associate
Location: Torrance, CA
Working Hour: 8:00am - 5:00pm
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time, Long-term temp

An international logistics firm based in Torrance is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Import Operations Associate to join their import department. Key Responsibilities:
Operations Support: Assist in the accurate entry of import data (e.g., bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists) into management systems.
Documentation: Organize and maintain digital filing systems, ensuring all regulatory and shipping documents are correctly archived.
Process Oversight: Monitor shipment status and support the team in identifying data discrepancies early in the process.
Professional Development: Gain practical experience in logistics regulations and international trade compliance under the guidance of senior coordinators.
Qualifications:
Experience
: Prior experience in the logistics industry is preferred but not required.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy, particularly when handling numerical data and documentation.
Communication: Clear and professional verbal and written correspondence.
Technical Aptitude: Basic computer skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new software.
Japanese skill (language and/or cultural understanding) is a big plus
