Human Resource Administrator
Location : New York City, NY This position will have an HR generalist background with 5-7 years of minimum experience and understand the basic principles and functions of a human resource department. This individual will support all employees, all programs, benefits and payroll, recruiting, and related projects for two entities in a multiple state setting. This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week in an office setting. This position will need to be knowledgeable and resourceful in the below areas: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
General Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have an understanding of the HR function or have a minimum of five years of experience as a generalist and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required, but is not limited to these requirements. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree is required, education in in Labor Relations or Human Resources is preferred, and a minimum of 5 years of experience and an understanding of the terminology and mechanics of the Human Resource process is required. Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate detailed instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write detailed correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group, and employees of the organization. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Expertise applying these math skills to common HR calculations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills with a concentration in HR related applications. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including excel, as well as ADP Work Force Now or ADP Comprehensive Services, and using vendor websites. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Human Resource Certification Preferred. | |
