We're hiring a Financial Center Leader for our 119th & Penn location in Oklahoma City. This is a well-established financial center with strong client activity and meaningful opportunity to grow deposits, deepen relationships, and expand business banking. This role is ideal for a strong people leader who thrives in a goal-driven environment, enjoys motivating teams, and is energized by sales, relationship building, and community presence.

While prior banking experience is helpful, it is not required. If you've successfully led teams, driven results, and developed talent in a sales- or retail-focused environment, we're interested in talking with you.

Job Description

The Financial Center Leader is responsible for overall performance of the financial center, with a focus on sales growth, deposit and business banking expansion, client experience, and staff development. You'll lead, coach, and motivate your team while actively prospecting, working the existing book of business, and building new relationships in the local market.

Upon graduation, you'll be prepared to lead with confidence and deliver best-in-class service while helping drive long-term growth for the financial center.

Please note: Initial training schedules may differ from regular business hours, and training may take place at a different location prior to permanent branch placement.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • Business Development: Plan and execute the financial center's retention and growth activities, with a focus on building and deepening relationship-based client and small business connections. You will personally own a book of business and lead the team in developing a strong pipeline of prospects and clients, including those with more sophisticated financial needs. You will leverage ongoing residential and commercial development in the area to identify opportunities for growth and referrals across lines of business.
  • Client Experience and Engagement: Oversee the BOKF branch experience through delivery of a differentiated, relationship-focused client experience. Lead client issue resolution and escalations, review feedback to drive improvement, and model professionalism when supporting sophisticated client relationships. Provide notary services, including support for loan closings.
  • Coaching and Development: Ensure team members meet performance and activity expectations through consistent performance management and coaching. Develop consultative skills through one-on-one coaching, observation, and team meetings, using the CX Playbook to support client financial well-being.
  • Profitability and Growth: Drive branch revenue and business banking growth through acquisition, expansion, and retention activities. Ensure the team delivers effective, consultative conversations aligned to CX Playbook and Sales University expectations.
  • Partnerships and Risk: Develop and maintain partnerships with representatives of other Bank lines of business. You will ensure the financial center is in compliance with established operating policies and procedures and all outside regulatory requirements; authorizes transactions, deposits, official checks, and wire transfers within pre-established levels of authority while migrating sales practice risk.
  • Community Involvement: Participate in local market/community activities, preferably in a leadership capacity. You will promote the BOKF brand and supports community initiatives.
Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelors Degree in Business or a related field of study and 3-5 years of directly related experience in management/supervisory capacity or 5-7 years of equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to motivate teammates through in-person and virtual coaching methods, while providing leadership and excellent team-building skills
  • Ability to make empowered leadership decisions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Proven ability to coach, develop and delegate to achieve common goals
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills including effective communication to build partnerships to achieve business outcomes
  • Ability to effectively support teammate engagement and the client experience while driving results
  • Excellent research and problem-solving ability combined with leadership to foster an empowered culture
  • Advanced knowledge of consultative needs-based concepts for client engagement
  • Excellent client experience, relationship-building, and business development skills
  • Advanced knowledge of consumer financial products and services (full technical knowledge of core branch banking products and working knowledge of non-core products such as: mortgage, investment, and business banking)
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of applicable consumer laws and government regulations
