Salary from $25 - 33/hour depending upon experience
Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation guidance of alarm monitoring communication devices
- Troubleshoot and correct alarm communication failures when possible
- Program security and fire alarm digital communication devices
- Manage hosted services support: creating customers, instances, and users
- Assist with placing monitoring accounts in service
- Identifying monitoring accounts that are in a non-compliance status according to their local AHJ and working with service departments on solutions
- Identifying accounts that are in a non-communicative status, that require service or upgrading and working with service departments on solutions
- Support branches with all monitored equipment tech related questions, concerns and issues
Required:
- Minimum 1-3 years' experience installing/troubleshooting/repairing intrusion/fire alarm panels and cellular communicators
- Pass drug and background screenings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency working in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Follow Koorsen Fire & Security policies and procedures
- Represent Koorsen Fire & Security in a professional manner
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to perform some repetitive motions while using a computer
- Exposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noises
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
HIRING PROCESS (in addition to an interview):
1. New hires must complete the I-9 Verification form with 3 days of hire. This form is required by the U.S. Department of Justice and Immigration and Immigration and Naturalization Services and is used to verify your identity and right to work in the United States. 2. Background checks with criminal courts, state and county repositories of criminal records, the Department of Motor Vehicles, are required of all Positions.
