Meet The Team We are the Intelligence Operations team within the Intrusion Detection & Response organization at Cisco. Our team is responsible for delivering actionable cyber threat intelligence support to internal security teams across the company and the broader intelligence community. Our goal is to help protect Cisco and its distributed Business Units by distilling the cyber threat landscape in a way that improves our security posture, mitigates risk, and reduces uncertainty. We are looking for an experienced Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst or Threat Hunter that can help us provide timely and actionable intelligence across Cisco to identify, protect, detect, and respond to threats impacting our environment. Your Impact The Analyst plays a critical role in driving the collection and analysis of complex threat data to produce actionable intelligence that informs security decisions at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels. This role involves establishing and nurturing cross-functional partnerships, driving advanced threat detection initiatives, and providing expert support during incident investigations to protect Cisco's operations from sophisticated adversaries. In addition to influencing Cisco's security posture and playing a critical role in driving complex enterprise-wide initiatives, the senior analyst is expected to demonstrate technical leadership by mentoring junior team members, fostering their professional growth, and cultivating a collaborative, high-performing team environment. This role offers the opportunity to continuously adapt to the evolving threat landscape using cutting-edge intelligence techniques and collaboration across diverse teams. The applicant would play a critical role in intelligence production and collection efforts, develop strategic partnerships, author authoritative reports, and deliver executive-level briefings, all while ensuring operational excellence through rigorous documentation and process governance. As a senior team member, the analyst is also responsible for coaching and mentoring colleagues, promoting knowledge sharing, and driving continuous improvement within the team. This senior technical role offers a dynamic environment that brings together technical proficiency, strategic impact, and innovative approaches to cybersecurity in support of a global technology enterprise.

For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid. The applicable full salary ranges for this position, by specific state, are listed below: New York City Metro Area: $158,800.00 - $237,400.00Non-Metro New York state & Washington state: $137,700.00 - $211,100.00* For quota-based sales roles on Cisco's sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined. ** Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements. | |
