Responsible for completing and delivering all required RESPA disclosures on new loan applications. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to ordering appraisals, ordering title commitments, conducting written and verbal verifications of employment, requesting tax transcripts and ordering flood certifications. Performs other projects and duties as assigned. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities: * Complete and deliver all required RESPA disclosures on new loan applications. * Order appraisals. * Order title commitments. * Conduct written and verbal verifications of employment. * Request tax transcripts. * Order flood certifications. Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: * Must be familiar with general mortgage terms and have knowledge of the documents required for the processing and closing of mortgage loans. * This position requires strong organizational and communication skills. * The individual must be able to concentrate in an open and fast-paced environment, have high degree of accuracy and be able to work well under pressure. * The individual must have strong communication skills and be able to develop relationships with co-workers, attorneys and appraisers. * Must be able to prioritize, follow instructions, take direction from others and work well alone or in a group. * Incumbent delivers the highest level of service at all times to both internal and external customers. * The individual must obtain, be able to recall and apply information on various federal regulations that apply in the mortgage industry. * Will be required to retain and apply knowledge of company policies and procedures on a daily basis. * Must apply common sense reasoning, be able to request assistance from others when needed, and/or rely on judgment, prior experience and discretion to complete tasks associated with established policies, procedures and regulations. Industry and Work Experience: * 1 - 2 years of Mortgage industry related experience, preferred. Academic: * High school diploma or GED required.
