We're seeking a future team member for the role of a Talent and Learning Team Member to join our People Team. This role is located in New York. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Enterprise Talent and Learning Strategy
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Practice Leads and People Business Partners, aligning learning and talent strategies with enterprise transformation goals
- Support the maintenance and development of role-specific skills needed within practices spanning multiple platforms
- Support strategic workforce development by aligning learning plans with business goals and platform maturity
Learning Solution Design and Development
- Design, deliver and continuously evolve blended learning experiences, including:
- Curated learning pathways via e-learning and playlists
- Instructor-led sessions (virtual and in-person)
- Communities of Practice for peer exchange and social learning
- Tailor content to suit both technical and behavioral competencies across functions and roles
- Facilitate / support train the trainer sessions / forums focused on:
- Learning activation and broader adoption of learning plans
- Strategic alignment and prioritization in platform-led structures
- Culture evolution, employee motivation and engagement
- Building high-performing, trust-based cross-platform teams
Culture, Communications and Change Activation
- Design and deliver engaging learning communications that reinforce purpose, relevance, and value
- Act as a change champion to support behavioral shifts tied to platform thinking and talent agility
- Support teammates in building psychologically safe environments that empower experimentation and feedback
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field
- 8+ years in a Talent Development, Learning, or Organizational Effectiveness role, preferably within financial services or complex, matrixed environments
- Proven ability to design and implement large-scale learning initiatives that drive cultural and capability shifts
Preferred:
- Experience supporting operating model changes or digital transformations
- Knowledge of modern learning platforms and tools (LXPs, content curation, digital badging, AI in learning)
- Certifications in coaching, facilitation, or assessment tools are a plus

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $104,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
