We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Executive Programs Events to join our Marketing team. This role is located in New York City. Position Summary BNY is seeking a highly organized, strategic, and execution-focused Vice President, Executive Programs and Wealth Events Manager to lead the planning and delivery of high-impact events and executive programs that advance business priorities, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and elevate the BNY brand and experience. This position will oversee events ranging from executive leadership meetings, board-related programs, and senior leadership forums. This individual will also lead event marketing, strategy and execution for the Mid-West region including client events, regional roadshows, conferences, recognition programs, and thought leadership experiences. The role requires strong events strategy, logistics management, relationship management, communications, budget oversight, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of executive programs primarily based in New York, including senior leadership meetings, executive forums, and assist in the planning and execution of board-related events, leadership offsites, and internal high-visibility programs.
- Manage and execute Wealth Events supporting the Midwest region, including client-facing experiences, regional programs, hosted events, industry conferences, and market engagement opportunities.
- Translate business objectives into strategic event plans that support stakeholder engagement, leadership connectivity, client experience, and brand reputation.
- Partner with senior executives, business leaders, marketing partners, communications teams, and key control functions to align event strategy, content, audience approach, and execution.
- Oversee all phases of event management including concept development, project planning, run-of-show creation, venue coordination, registration, travel logistics, catering, production, branding, speaker support, and post-event follow-up.
- Manage budgets, vendor negotiations, invoices, and reconciliation processes while ensuring cost discipline and strong stewardship of resources.
- Develop and maintain event timelines, planning documents, communications materials, attendee lists, briefing materials, and onsite execution plans.
- Ensure all events are delivered with a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and hospitality, especially for senior executives and client-facing audiences.
- Support measurement and reporting on event success, including attendance, stakeholder feedback, business impact, and lessons learned for future programming.
- Identify opportunities to improve event processes, enhance attendee experience, and standardize best practices across executive and wealth programming.

- Significant experience in corporate events, executive programs, client events, or experiential marketing, preferably within financial services, professional services, or a large corporate environment.
- Demonstrated success managing high-visibility internal and external events with senior executive and client-facing audiences.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational discipline, and problem-solving ability.
- Experience managing event budgets, vendor relationships, contracts, and production logistics.
- Ability to work both strategically and tactically, with a hands-on approach to execution.
- Strong relationship management skills and the ability to influence across teams and levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with event planning tools, Microsoft Office applications, and collaboration platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI-powered productivity tools efficiently to enhance planning, execution, communications, and operational effectiveness, including the ability to craft clear, effective prompts to generate high-quality outputs.
- Willingness to travel, as needed, to support Wealth programs in the Midwest region and other priority events.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting executive-level programs, board-related meetings, or C-suite events.
- Experience planning wealth management, client engagement, or regional business development events.
- Familiarity with high-touch event environments requiring confidentiality, polish, and executive presence.
- Experience in a matrixed global organization with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows, improve productivity, and support content development, event communications, and planning processes.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $83,000 and $134,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
