As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, including a driving post, helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong customer service. You will complete routine patrols, support guests and staff with clear communication, and represent Allied Universal's caring culture, teamwork, reliability, and integrity every day.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and sharing details with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, support loss prevention efforts, and report policy violations and/or suspicious behavior.
• Assist with de-escalation, crowd management, and direction-giving for customers and employees during busy periods, special events, store openings and closings, and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
