Job Description




As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in Cambridge, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional in a healthcare location, where you will help monitor communications, coordinate responses to alarms and incidents, and support daily security-related operations. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Monitor communication systems, receive and document calls for service, and dispatch appropriate personnel to incidents, routine requests, and/or priority situations in a timely manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining clear communication with on-site personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation, helping to support situational awareness and continuity of operations throughout the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
