What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying credentials and screening access requests in accordance with post orders and government location protocols.
• Support security-related operations by preparing routine reports, maintaining awareness of surroundings, and following Allied Universal standards for professionalism and conduct.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
