As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Locust Grove, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a resort-style location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and armed guard card/license. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout resort-style grounds, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify credentials when required, and support compliance with property rules, guest service standards, and other security-related protocols.
• Assist with handling calls for service, guest concerns, and after-hours issues while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a courteous environment throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
